Vote for your favorite entry in the Louisville Science Center's first-ever STEM Art Exhibition, on display at the Science Center October 15-18.

Floral designers created floral interpretations of specific Vincent van Gogh paintings in conjunction with the opening of Van Gogh: Brush with Genius IMAX® film in our four-story theatre. Inspired by an industry term (S.T.E.M.--Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), designers were asked to incorporate an element of science in their arrangements. When you click on the link below, you'll see the floral arrangement on the left and the Van Gogh painting that inspired the arrangement on the right.

The exhibition was open to individuals, groups, garden clubs, and professional designers. Voting is taking place on site and online through Tuesday, October 20, at 5 p.m. The winner will be announced Wednesday, October 21, via a news release and on the homepage of LouisvilleScience.org. The designer of the winning arrangement will receive a complimentary bottle of Lucid Absinthe (a favorite drink of Van Gogh), courtesy of Southern Wine & Spirits, 12 tickets to the film, and one year-long individual Science Center membership.
