Kids can be what they want now in KidZone! In this special play area for children ages 7 and younger and their caregivers, young visitors use their imaginations to explore the exciting world of science. 

Don't miss our new Splash! water experience, where kids can build and race their own boats and experiment with pipes and tubing to change the flow of water! They can also zoom across the sky in an airplane and race through the streets of Louisville in an ambulance. In a spaceship, they'll explore the far reaches of the galaxy. Along the way, they'll discover the wonders of water and build their own creations in the construction zone.

KidZone no longer operates in sessions and is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. KidZone is designed for parent/child interaction, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Groups of 10 or more still require reservations at least one week in advance and must be accompanied by one chaperone for every 10 children.  

Members-Only Mornings are special activity sessions for Louisville Science Center members held in KidZone. The sessions are held every Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
