Demonstrations are offered daily by Science Center staff and feature topics of great importance to your body! Here's a sampling:

Bacteria Battles
Ever been sick? Discover how germs are spread and how they can dodge our first line of defenses. Use special lights to see where microscopic organisms might hide on your hands. Become skilled at the best techniques to guard your health.

The Good, Bad and Ugly
Touch and observe for yourself the dramatic differences between healthy lungs and lungs affected by long-term smoking. Examine two sets of lungs: one healthy and one that's smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for 20 years. (Don't worry! These are preserved pig lungs, and the "smoker's" lungs are simulated.) Don't miss it!
