A Family membership provides benefits for how many people?
A Family membership provides free admission to the Louisville Science Center and special discounts to the Louisville Science Center Gift Shop for a year to two adults and up to four children in the household under the age of 18. If you’re a grandparent, a Family membership covers two adults and up to four grandchildren under the age of 18.

Do members pay for temporary exhibits?
Members are entitled to a limited number of free or discounted tickets to our temporary exhibits. The World We Create, The World Within Us, The World Around Us and KidZone are always free to members.

How often can I visit the Louisville Science Center as a member?
Members may visit the Science Center as often as they like for an unlimited number of times each year free of general admission prices.

Is there a reciprocal free admission at other Science Centers and Museums?
The Louisville Science Center is a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) Passport program, which allows you free or discounted admission to over 200 select museums nationwide. For a complete list of reciprocal organizations and explanation of benefits, visit the ASTC Passport program website.

I recently joined and still have not received my membership cards. I’d like to visit the Science Center soon.
It takes approximately two to three weeks to process your membership. If you do not have a temporary card, please contact the Membership office at (502) 561-6100 ext. 6564, or if you plan to visit the Louisville Science Center before receiving your cards.

I joined online and don’t have a temporary card. Can I visit the Science Center?
Yes, simply bring a printout of your membership confirmation and present it at the admissions desk.

I misplaced or never received my membership card.

I have a Family level membership. Can my nanny or friend use my membership card?
No, your Family membership card is valid for the named adults on the card. However, if your family has a regular nanny or caretaker you can add him or her to your Family level membership for just $20 or your Dual level membership for $40. Call the membership department at (502) 561-6100 ext.6564 or .

I am interested in a higher level membership. Do I need to wait until my card expires to upgrade?
No, you may upgrade your membership anytime during the year. Just contact the membership office at (502) 561-6100 ext. 6564, or and begin taking advantage of the perks of an upper level membership.

Do I need to RSVP for Members’ Events?
Yes, we have limited spaces for all of our member events. Contact the Customer Service department at (502) 561-6100, ext. 6111 to reserve your place today!
