"Insect Life Cycle Lab" (Ages 3-8)
Investigate the body structures of insects using live mealworms and darkling beetles. Conduct experiments to discover some of the basic needs of organisms. Witness the stages of a beetle's life cycle and observe the movement and behavior of larva, pupa and adult beetles. Maximum of 30 students.
"Little Scientists Lab" (Ages 3-8)
Explore simple chemical reactions and the use of scientific tools. Learn how to be a scientist using magnifiers, pipettes, plastic test tubes and beakers. Designed to give early learners their first experience in conducting an experiment, this lab is sure to spark the curiosity of your students! Maximum of 30 students.
"Owl Pellet Dissection Lab" (Ages 4-8)
Dissect a real owl pellet and discover what the owl had for dinner. Practice using scientific tools to observe and classify the bones. Learn how an owl's digestive system is different than a human's. Maximum of 30 students.
