On Friday, August 10, we will close at 4 p.m. to prepare for the Back to School Bash. The last IMAX will be at 4 p.m.

The Science Center and IMAX Theatre will be closed on September 5 for staff training.

Holiday Hours

The Science Center is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day and New Year's Day. The Science Center is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

KidZone, the IMAX Theatre and the Louisville Science Center Gift Shop are closed on Mondays when school is in session. All other exhibit areas are open. All Science Center offerings are open and fully operational on Monday holidays and during school breaks, Full Science Mondays in 2006-2007 are September 4, 2006; October 9, 2006; December 18, 2006; January 1, 2007; January 15, 2007; February 19, 2007; March 26, 2007; April 9, 2007; and all Mondays in May, June, July and August.

The last admission to the Science Center and IMAX Theatre is one hour before closing.
