If you're interested in having fun, meeting new people and helping out the Science Center, please consider becoming a Science Center volunteer. We welcome teens ages 14 and older, and adults of all ages. Many of our valued volunteers are retirees who are willing to share their time and experience.
Work in the Gift Shop, greet school groups, host the information booth, or help with special programs and events. Maybe you would enjoy answering visitors' questions in the new permanent exhibit The World Around Us or helping youngsters with science crafts in KidZone.
As a Science Center volunteer, you will receive:
- Free Parking
- 20% off purchases in the Gift Shop
- 10% off purchases at our Subway restaurant while on duty
- Free admission to Science Center exhibits and IMAX® film previews
- Free admission to a variety of social activities throughout the year
We're grateful for our great volunteers! They help us maintain and expand our exceptional programs. For more information, contact the Volunteer Office at 561-6100, ext. 6140.
