Nano Day brings the world that's normally invisible to the naked eye -- things smaller than a cell in your body and thinner than a hair on your head -- to life! Nanotechnology has brought us new ways to fight cancer, lighter and stronger materials for consumer and commercial use, and is making energy more efficient.
Meet scientists that specialize in nano research from Indiana University Bloomington, University of Louisville, and University of Kentucky. Special guest: Greg A. Gerhardt Ph.D., Director of the Morris K. Udall Parkinson's Disease Research Center of Excellence and the Director of the Center for Microelectrode Technology at the University of Kentucky.
Also enjoy fun activities about lithography, nanomedicine, measurement, the foce of gravity, liquid crystals, and measurement!
