Open June 11 - September 18, 2011
Fire a giant catapult, lift a sword and build a castle archway! In The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition, guests discover the science and wonder illuminated in the blockbuster Disney film series and the timeless works of author C.S. Lewis. With hands-on, interactive elements and original film artifacts, guests encounter topics like geography, archaeology, engineering, humanity’s impact on nature and environmental changes.
Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) produced the exhibition in partnership with Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media. Once inside Narnia, visitors will view artifacts from C.S. Lewis’ personal study, including the original walk in wardrobe that started it all. Interactive elements include a replica of the White Witch’s Throne, which visitors can sit on and feel the chill; a real working catapult similar to those used during medieval times; and an area highlighting the mythical creatures of Narnia, where visitors can create well-known characters from the films or create new characters!
Please note: Visitors are not permitted to take photos or video in the exhibition.
