2005-06 Midnight Magic Camp-ins
This season, there's a whole new world to explore! Be among the first to experience the Science Center's newest exhibit, THE WORLD AROUND US. In this natural and environmental science exhibit, campers can crawl through a cave, blast off to space, or star in their own weather forecast. Also, campers will explore the brand new Discovery Gallery - a place where artifacts inspire curiosity! View icons like the mummy, the polar bears, or the Gemini Trainer capsule in a new light, or examine an Investigation Station or Discovery Box. Cap it all off with a flashlight scavenger hunt and a screening of the IMAX film MYSTERY OF THE NILE.
The Midnight Magic Camp-in is a fun-filled scientific adventure for children grades 1-5, along with their adult leaders. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m., and the fun continues until 9:00 the following morning. The Louisville Science Center reserves the right to cancel sessions that have insufficient enrollment, in which case a full refund will be issued.Read our refund policy.
A 1:8 adult/child minimum ratio is required by the Science Center, however, leaders should check to find out their organization's minimum chaperone guidelines. Please be aware that the Science Center is open to the general public during camp-ins until 9:00 p.m.
