Field Trip Package

PLAN IT YOURSELF
Customize your own field trip. Costs vary, depending on which activities you choose for your students. There is a required minimum of 10 students (except for home schools), but no maximum. To plan your own customized trip, call our customer service representatives at (502) 561-6100 or (800) 591-2203.

Additional fees:
Lunchroom: 50 cents for students and chaperones
BioLab or Chemistry Kitchen: $1.25 for students, free for required chaperones, additional chaperones not admitted.

SPECIALIZED VISITS
We'll Plan It for You.
This specialized visit offers a grade-appropriate, content-based experience that leaves the planning to us. All you have to do is tell us how many kids you want to bring and choose a content area. Choose THE WORLD WE CREATE (physical science), which includes a 20-minute demonstration in the Chemistry Kitchen, or THE WORLD WITHIN US (life and health science), which includes a 20-minute demonstration in the BioLab or a 50-minute hands-on lab experience in the BioLab (time permintting). This package includes:
1. A Science Center escort to guide your class through exhibits
2. One IMAX® film
3. Use of the lunchroom
4. A demonstration or lab

Cost: $10 per student (minimum 10 students; 60 students maximum)
Chaperones: One chaperone per 10 students is required for grades 2-12. One chaperone is required per five students for preschool through first grade. Required chaperones pay $1 each. Additional chaperones pay $10 per person.
