KidZone and the IMAX® Theatre are closed on Mondays, except on holidays and during Jefferson County Public School breaks.
Please note: The last admission to the Science Center and IMAX® Theatre is one hour before closing.
There's a little scientist in all of us! The Louisville Science Center strives to bring that out through a combination of engaging exhibits, programs and IMAX® films. No matter if you are a child,  a teenager, a teacher or a business professional, there is something here for you to see, hear, and touch!
Experience hands-on interactive EXHIBITS that the whole family will enjoy or see an incredible film in the Science Center's four-story high IMAX® Theatre screen.  The Louisville Science Center is Kentucky's largest hands-on science center and one of Louisville's major tourist attractions.

Location
The Louisville Science Center is located in historic downtown Louisville on Main Street, between Seventh and Eighth streets. Look for the brightly-colored banners and moving sculptures.

Helpful Hints
- Reservations are accepted. Call (502) 561-6100 to make a reservation.
- The Science Center accepts Visa, MasterCard or American Express for your reservations or ticket purchases. Please have your card on-hand when calling ahead for reservations.
- Please call ahead to make sure that the film you wish to see has available seats and that the show schedule has not been changed.
- Arrive early. Give yourself plenty of time to purchase tickets, find the theater and get a seat.
- If you are bringing a group, make a group reservation in advance by calling (502) 561-6100. This way we can better accommodate your needs. Remember that groups of ten or more get a special discount with advance reservations!
