Distance Learning

Bring Hands-On Learning to Your School.

Send your students on a virtual visit to the Louisville Science Center by scheduling one of several hour-long Distance Learning programs offered via the Kentucky TeleLinking Network (KTLN). Each is designed to support National Science Standards in science, mathematics and technology for grades 2 through 12.

Students have the opportunity to perform experiments while participating in a live, interactive video conference link. Each program includes an equipment kit of supplies, pre-lab and post-lab activities, and suggestions for expanding the learning experience. Choose from an array of science content, including physics, chemistry, health sciences and practical living.

Professional development is also offered through Distance Learning. Schedule a session at your school.
